The Venue
Waypoint Acres is the only venue within a 90-minute drive of Edmonton to pair a large-capacity event hall with genuine off-grid credentials and on-site cabin accommodation. The hall seats 350 across a 65×90 ft clear-span floor — no columns, no obstructed sightlines — configurable for theatre, banquet, or hybrid layouts.
Our daily rate is flat and includes the full technology package: stage, audio, video, lighting, and streaming. No surprise A/V invoices, no preferred-vendor markups. What you see is what your event runs on.
The hall does not include an exclusive site buyout — cabin guests may be on-site during your event. If you'd like the property to yourselves, ask about combined hall-and-cabin packages.
A permanently dry venue. No alcohol is served or permitted at Waypoint Acres — not by default, and not subject to exception. Specialty mocktails and curated non-alcoholic beverages are available at applicable events. This is a firm policy, stated plainly, and it's part of what makes the venue right for faith-based ceremonies, youth and family events, and guests who simply prefer it.

The hall is part of a connected complex: event floor, thrust stage, full A/V, a shared Commons Lounge, and an adjacent commercial kitchen for your approved caterer.
A 65×90 ft event floor inside an 80×120 ft building footprint. Theatre, banquet, or hybrid seating. In-slab radiant heat under polished concrete — clean, flexible, and built for real use.
A custom thrust stage at three concentric levels, built for performances, ceremonies, and presentations. Sightlines are planned for the full room, including side seating positions.
Phase 1: a 22×12 ft motorized main screen, full line-array audio, wireless headset mics, PTZ cameras, a streaming encoder, moving heads, LED par cans, followspot, and haze. Phase 2 adds dual 9×6 ft side screens, Zoom Rooms, and full automation.
A full commercial kitchen in a connected building, available to WA staff and approved partner caterers. Linked to the hall via the Commons Lounge so service flows without crossing the event floor.
A quiet gathering space connecting the hall and kitchen, with two games tables and a feature fireplace. A natural spot for registration, intermissions, breakout conversation, and light refreshments.
Geothermal radiant heat and mechanical cooling keep the hall comfortable in every season. Alberta weather is not a planning factor — the hall books equally in January and July.
Two gravel lots with combined capacity for 500+ vehicles, twelve on-site bathroom pods, and ground-level accessibility throughout. No parking charge for event guests.
